He is by Touchdown who in 1992 competed at the Barcelona Olympics and also won the Aga Khan trophy for Ireland. Touchdown is a fantastic producer of both international showjumpers and eventers. Touchdown was himself by Galoubet, one of the most important stallions in showjumping history.

Caracas and rider Jos Verlooy have formed a solid combination for several years now with countless successes at the top level of international show jumping.
In 2019, the duo had several winnings including the CSI5* GP 1m60 Jump Off in Ascona and the CSI5* GP 1m50 Jump Off and CSI5* GP in Doha. They took third in the CSI5* GP Jump Off in Stockholm and fifth in CSI5* GP GCT/GCL in Mexico City. In 2018 they won the CSIO5* GP 1m60 in Rotterdam and had third placements in the Nations Cup CSIO5* in Samorin and the CSI5* GCT/GCL in Miami.
In 2017 Caracas and Jos placed 2nd in the Global Champions Tour Grand Prix of Mexico, 2nd in the World Cup in Mechelen, 4th in the LGCT GP Valkenswaard, 5th in the LGCT GP Estoril and were an invaluable combination for the "Hamburg Diamonds" who won the overall standings in the Longines Global Champions League. Caracas was born in Australia and it is not known whether he was used in breeding in his younger years. In 2017 the first mares were covered and his first crop was born in Europe in 2018.
Sire Casall Ask (Carentino x Lavall I) is the legendary jumping stallion of Rolf Goran Bengtsson. They won many Grand Prix, including their very last one at the Global Champions Tour of Hamburg in 2017. In addition, the combination participated in the Olympic Games in London (2012), EK in Herning (2013) where they were individually 4th, and also at the World Championships in Caen (2014) where they placed 4th in the individual.
His dam is a Holstein mare by Colthaga (s.Colman x Barnaul). As far as we know, this is her only offspring and she herself has a career competing in 1m60 classes. In the 2nd dam line there are several offspring who are active in international jumping competition.

Premier Royal Balou is the dam of Premier Lily who finished 6th and 10th in the 4 year old classes at the Dublin Horse Show in 2022 and achieved the highest mark for jumping.
